President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigeria’s sprint superstar Tobi Amusan for her silver medal-winning performance at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

Amusan secured a silver medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the championships in Tokyo, Japan, on Monday.
In a statement from his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Amusan’s relentless drive, resilience, and unwavering spirit: “Tobi has once again demonstrated that with patriotic fervour, coupled with hard work and determination, any height is surmountable. Her achievement is a source of national pride.”
President Tinubu wished Amusan continued success in her future endeavours and assured her of the government’s support.
