The First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, on Thursday condoled Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the people of the state, and corporate organisations affected by the fire outbreak that occurred at Afriland Towers on Broad Street, Lagos Island.

In a condolence message, the President’s wife expressed grief over the tragedy which claimed ten lives, describing it as a painful loss to the state and the organisations affected.

LEADERSHIP recalls that staff members of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the United Bank for Africa (UBA) were affected in the inferno that gutted the building on Tuesday.

Senator Tinubu prayed for God’s comfort for the bereaved families, colleagues, and loved ones of the deceased, and for healing for those who sustained injuries.
