Global Initiative Appoints Nigerian Entrepreneur Chukwunyere M/East, Africa’s Deep Tech Ambassador

The global innovation community, has appointed a Nigerian-born entrepreneur and leadership coach, Remy Chukwunyere as a Deep Tech Ambassador for the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

In this new role, Chukwunyere will serve as a key connector between deep tech founders, investors, corporates, and policymakers, with the aim of accelerating transformative technologies in fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, climate tech, and advanced engineering.

Accepting his appointment in a statement, the Executive Director of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, expressed readiness to deliver on task entrusted to him.

“I am deeply honored to serve as a Deep Tech MEA Ambassador. MEA is home to extraordinary talent and bold ideas. My mission is to shine a global spotlight on the region’s deep tech potential, foster cross-border partnerships, and ensure that innovative founders can scale and compete on the world stage,” he said.

Chukwunyere is a seasoned startups mentor and leadership coach who has supported the establishment of more than 7,000 SMEs in Nigeria and nurtured a community of over 20,000 young entrepreneurs across Africa.

His appointment reflects both his commitment to building the innovation ecosystem and his ability to bridge African and Middle Eastern startups with global investors and corporate partners.
