Afenifere Will Still Hold Talks With Other Candidates – Scribe

The apex Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, will meet with other presidential candidates to hear what they have to offer Nigerians.

Reacting to purported endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Afenifere Nation publicity secretary Comrade Jare Ajayi said, “The leader of Afenifere Pa Reuben Fasoranti did not send for the All Progressives Congress APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

“It was Tinubu that sought to have an audience with the Afenifere leader, and Fasoranti extended an invitation to all Yoruba leaders that graced the occasion.”

On whether that means Afenifere has endorsed Tinubu, as against the Labour Party candidate Dr. Peter Obi the party was rooting for he said, “That is not the situation, the Yoruba leaders will hopefully send for other presidential candidates to know their plans to make Nigeria better if elected into office.”
