The Industrial and Commercial Expo, scheduled from September 23 to September 25, 2025, at the Armed Forces Officers’ Mess and Suites, Asokoro, Abuja, has been postponed until further notice.
The expo’s organising committee said the delay in the arrival and clearance of critical exhibition items from the international exhibitors prompted the action.
In a press statement issued over the weekend by the event coordinator, Engr. Innocent Ogu said that to deliver a successful, inclusive, and world-class expo, “we must allow sufficient time for all logistics and technical preparations to be completed before announcing a new date.”
He appealed for understanding from ministries, departments, agencies (MDAs), state governments, exhibitors, partners, and the general public regarding the postponement and regretted any inconvenience their action may have caused them.
He reiterated that the expo, with the theme “Empowering Businesses and Connecting Markets,” which would be held at a new date to be announced, would remain a strategic national platform to showcase Nigeria’s industrial and commercial capacity; promote state, federal and international partnerships; facilitate Business-to-Business (B2B) and Government-to-Business (G2B) engagements and drive investment opportunities across key sectors.
Ogu said, “We sincerely regret any inconvenience this postponement may cause and deeply appreciate the stakeholders’ patience, understanding, and continued support. Once all arrangements are finalised, a new date will be communicated.”
