A lack of continuity in policy implementation and project execution has been identified as one of the country’s developmental setbacks, depriving citizens of value for money.
The managing director/chief executive officer (MD/CEO), Innovative Technical Engineering Construction Ltd, Tusse Aondona Suleiman, stated this in a press statement issued to LEADERSHIP in Jalingo yesterday.
Suleiman commended Governor Agbu Kefas for setting the pace of inheriting abandoned projects and completing them for the overall progress of the state.
The MD/CEO further praised the governor for setting a new standard for transformative infrastructure, human capital development, and purposeful governance in the state.
“Taraba State is experiencing a historic turnaround under the purposeful leadership of Governor Agbu Kefas, whose vision is redefining continuity in governance and setting a new standard for transformational infrastructure and human development in the state.
“For decades, one of Nigeria’s most significant developmental setbacks has been the abandonment of projects whenever political leadership changes hands.
“This culture of waste has robbed the people of value for money and denied communities the benefits of completed infrastructure.
“But Governor Kefas has chosen a different path, embracing inherited projects, completing them, and building upon them.
“By placing the people’s interest above political gain or personal credit, he is demonstrating that governance can be both visionary and people-centred,” Suleiman said.
