This was contained in a statement released to reporters yesterday in Birnin Kebbi by the commissioner for finance, Ibrahim Muhammad Augie.

The statement therefore urged workers in the state to complement the efforts of the government by always putting their best in order to help deliver the programmes of the government.

It however indicated that salaries, pensions, gratuity, leave grants, promotions and training which have been regularly maintained by Bagudu’s administration since 2015 to date would also be maintained up to the end of his tenure in office.

It added that Kebbi State under the leadership of governor Bagudu is among the few states in northern Nigeria with the best track record on workers welfare.
