Member representing Bassa/Jos North Federal constituency of Plateau State, Hon. Daniel Asama, has organised training in agricultural and environmental management skills for his constituents.
Asama in an interview with LEADERSHIP disclosed that the gesture was in fulfilment of his commitment to equipping future generations and cushion economic hardship of the constituents.
The training facilitated by Timlight Investment and Services Ltd., is tailored to build capacity, promote self-reliance, and enhance sustainable livelihood opportunities for constituents.
LEADERSHIP reports that other areas of the training include Bee-Keeping, Plantation Establishment, Agro-Forestry/Propagation, Mushroom Farming, Snail Farming, ICT in Agriculture and Photography among others.
According to the federal lawmaker the initiative emphasised his visionary leadership and dedication to improving the welfare of the good people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency through practical empowerment and sustainable development programmes.
