The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that the screening of aspirants vying for various national offices ahead of its 2025 Elective National Convention will hold on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
According to a statement signed by Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, chairman of the National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC), the exercise will take place at the NCOC Secretariat Conference Hall, Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja, by 2:00 p.m.
The committee further disclosed that the Screening Appeal has been scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2025.
Fintiri added that Monday, October 27, 2025, is the deadline for the submission of completed Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms by all aspirants to the NCOC Secretariat.
“All aspirants, critical stakeholders, and party members should note the dates and be guided accordingly,” the statement read.
The screening process marks a crucial step in the party’s preparations for the much-anticipated national convention, expected to shape the PDP’s leadership direction ahead of the 2027 general election.
The Elective National Convention will take place in Ibadan, Oyo State, between November 15 and 16, 2025.
