Anambra Poll: Voting Begins In Nnewi South LGA

As voters prepare to elect the next governor of Anambra State, voting has commenced in wards across Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed that polling officials were already in place, fully prepared to conduct the election in these wards.

INEC emphasised that all necessary arrangements, including polling materials, verification tools, and personnel have been completed to ensure a smooth and orderly process.

Agents of participating political parties and security personnel have also been deployed to maintain public peace and assist where needed.

The Commission urged residents to adhere to electoral guidelines and exercise patience during the exercise.

Over 2 million registered voters are eligible to participate in the off-season Anambra governorship election.
