The 14th edition of the Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Forum has been slated to hold from December 1 to 4, 2025, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, with discussions focused on securing investments, strengthening local content, and increasing energy production.

The forum is expected to bring together policymakers, investors, regulators, and operators in the energy sector to discuss strategies for expanding local participation and building capacity within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

The meeting will also review ways to finance indigenous companies, develop local suppliers, and encourage technology transfer. It will feature a new Townhall Session to allow direct engagement between government officials, regulators, and industry players on policy and regulatory issues affecting the sector.

A statement by the organisers noted that the Forum would follow recent developments in Nigeria’s energy industry, including the inauguration of the country’s first indigenous crude export terminal, a $400 million facility inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The organisers stated that the forum aligns with the Federal Government’s Nigeria First Policy, which promotes the use of locally made goods and services across all sectors to boost industrial growth and employment.

Commenting on the event, Oluwamuyiwa Kosile, Managing Director of Ikosh Nigeria Limited, stated that his company supports efforts to strengthen local participation in the energy sector. “Our partnership with the Practical Nigerian Content Forum reflects our belief in collaboration as a tool for building a competitive and self-reliant energy industry,” he said.

The 2025 edition will also feature an exhibition showcasing over 30 companies, as well as a site visit to highlight successful local content projects. According to the organisers, the Forum aims to encourage investment partnerships and practical dialogue that can enhance Nigeria’s drive for sustainable energy growth.
