The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially commenced registration for 2025 Batch C1 mobilisation, opening doors for thousands of Nigerian graduates to begin the mandatory one-year national service.

The registration, which began on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, had already seen a flurry of activities as thousands of Prospective Corp Members (PCMs) rushed to secure their spots.

Originally scheduled to close on Monday, November 9, 2025, the deadline was extended to midnight on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, giving PCMs enough time to complete the process.

The NYSC Management explained that the extension was necessary after many PCMs reported difficulties in accessing and navigating the registration portal. The Corps apologised to applicants for the inconvenience, noting that they were working round the clock to resolve the glitch, ensuring that the PCMs enjoy seamless registration.

The registration process involves submitting personal details, academic credentials, and a valid National Identification Number (NIN) on the NYSC portal. Graduates are urged to double-check that their names, dates of graduation, and other credentials match those on their certificates to avoid delays in verification.

Once registration and verification are completed, PCMs are assigned a call-up number and can print their call-up letter, which contains details of their orientation camp and reporting date.

To make the process easier, hereunder is a five-step guide to getting your call-up number and other details:

How to Get Your NYSC Call-up Number:

Step 1: Register Online

Visit the official NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng and complete the 2025 Batch C1 registration form with accurate personal and academic details.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Ensure all required documents are uploaded. They include a recent white background passport photograph, NIN, Degree certificate/Statement of Result, O-level results, JAMB admission letter, Medical Certificate of Fitness, and your School ID Card.

Special groups like Foreign Graduates would require an International Passport, and a Marriage Certificate for those who are married.

Note that you would have to pay a required fee of N3,000 after submission so that you can receive your Green Card, which would be used for further registration in the Orientation Camp.

Step 3: Biometric Capture

Make sure to visit an accredited cyber cafe for your facial and fingerprint capture.

Step 4: Receive Call-up Number

After verification by NYSC, your call-up number will be assigned on the portal.

Step 5: Print Call-up Letter and Prepare for Camp

Download and print your call-up letter, then prepare the necessary items and report to your assigned orientation camp on the scheduled date.

With the extended deadline, the NYSC is hopeful that every eligible graduate will have a smooth registration experience and be ready to begin their national service. Officials are encouraging prospective corps members to act promptly and avoid last-minute technical issues that could hinder their participation.

For many, the NYSC scheme represents not just a year of service but also an opportunity to gain new skills, explore different parts of the country, and contribute to national development.

The NYSC 2025 Batch C1 mobilisation to camp is set to kick off on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, and conclude on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

The countdown to the orientation course has begun, as the registered graduates for 2025 Batch C1 prepare to take their place in the country’s long-standing tradition of national service for national reintegration.
