At the Abuja International Film Festival, industry stakeholders called for stronger investment and policy backing to boost Nollywood’s global competitiveness. Themed “From Script to Nation: The Role of Film in Shaping National Identity,” the event highlighted Nigeria’s film industry as a key driver of cultural influence and economic growth. Speakers urged government and private investors to address infrastructure and funding gaps, stressing that with proper support, Nollywood can strengthen national identity and expand its international footprint.
This event held from the 6th to 10th of November 2025.
