Trinity International College, Ofada in Ogun State, has vowed to continue raising the bar in Nigeria’s educational sector, despite the current decline in academic standards nationwide.

To this effect, the school management has appealed to the Nigerian government, parents, corporate bodies and concerned Nigerians to collaborate with her vision to rescue Nigeria’s hopelessly declining educational standards.

The Chairman of the Board of Governors of the college, Engineer Bayo Kolade, made this declaration at a media conference to mark the commencement of the school’s thirtieth anniversary event last week at the college premises.
Kolade, who decried the continuously falling standards of Nigerian schools, stated that despite these odds, the college will still be committed to providing excellent educational standards to ensure that Nigerian educational institutions have an exemplary role model to emulate, thereby salvaging the hopeless situation.

He also assured that the Trinity International College, which was established three decades ago to nurture godly, competent, and responsible future leaders, will firmly uphold its unique founding vision even after the founders have transitioned to glory.

‎Speaking in the same vein, Mr Samuel Olatunji, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, BOT, Trinity Group, said that the group would continuously strive to shape students who excel academically with its godly values to upgrade the falling standards of education.

According to him, students who uphold strong godly values and character will positively impact our educational standards and society across every sector. He emphatically declared that “Education is not just the acquisition of knowledge. It is the building of character, nurturing values, and creating leaders who transform society. In commitment to our vision to raise the educational standards, we will endeavour to expand this instruction’s curriculum horizontally and vertically to accommodate future needs in leadership training for our students”, he assured.

‎Engineer Kolade added that continuing to equip their students will update their knowledge of education, science, and technology, as well as their vocational skills, and empower them to excel in life generally. Mrs Adeyemo submitted that Trinity College will embrace all forms of global educational, scientific, technological, and vocational innovation and knowledge necessary to prepare its students to thrive as global citizens and godly leaders, in line with its vision to upgrade the standards of Nigerian educational institutions.
