CAF Awards 2025: Nnadozie Wins Historic ‘Goalkeeper Of The Year’ Award For 3rd Consecutive Time

Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been officially crowned the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for 2025, securing a historic and remarkable three-peat of the prestigious award.

This latest triumph at Wednesday night’s ceremony marks her third consecutive win, following her victories in 2023 and 2024, solidifying her status not just as Africa’s premier shot-stopper, but as a modern great of the game. At just 24 years of age, Nnadozie has achieved a level of consistent excellence that is unparalleled in the history of African women’s football.

Nnadozie’s third continental crown arrives on the crest of a wave of global recognition, underscoring her transition from a continental superstar to a world-class talent.

The award comes just weeks after she was shortlisted for ‘The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Award 2025’, finding herself in elite company alongside goalkeeping titans like Christiane Endler, Cata Coll, and Ann-Katrin Berger.
