Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (Ghana) has honoured Mr Mohammed Aliyu Fufore, a deputy director at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Abuja, for his exceptional contributions to public service and ethical leadership.
At the event, Fufore, on behalf of the president, Governing Council and Advisory Board of the institute, welcomed guests and highlighted the organisation’s commitment to promoting probity in governance and leadership excellence.
Established in 1995 and chartered in 2005, the institute is an international organisation dedicated to advancing ethical business practices and strengthening leadership capacity through conferences, training and professional certifications.
Part of its core mission is to identify and honour individuals who embody integrity, discipline and service to society.
Introducing the honouree, the institute described Fufore as a humble public servant whose work ethic, honesty and commitment to duty have distinguished him within Nigeria’s electoral system. He was praised for qualities such as discipline, creativity, flexibility, selflessness and a positive attitude to life, which have earned him respect among colleagues and the wider community.
According to the Institute, Mr Fufore’s achievements reflect the power of ethical leadership and a genuine desire to contribute to national development. His voice, vision and values were credited with helping to strengthen electioneering and public confidence in Nigeria’s democratic process.
After reviewing his professional performance and corporate delivery over the years, the Institute adjudged him credible for induction into its 2025 Hall of Fame. He was presented with the Honorary Professional Fellowship Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Public Resources Management in West Africa.
The award, the Institute said, recognises his dedication, integrity and outstanding contributions to his field and beyond. Mr Fufore was celebrated as a model of excellence and an inspiration to professionals across the continent.
