26 Get First Class Degrees At Summit University

A total of 26 students from Summit University, Offa in Kwara State, have received first-class degrees.
The students are part of the 319 that will be graduating during the University’s forthcoming convocation ceremony.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Abiodun Musa, disclosed this yesterday during a press conference heralding the combined 5th and 6th convocation of the institution.

He said 164 bagged second class upper,108 bagged second class lower and 25 bagged third class, while one student had a pass degree.

He said the university is committed to academic excellence, adding that it has produced students who are factory-fitted, requiring no additional training after graduation.
He said the students were trained digitally to produce drones and other technologically advanced gadgets.

Musa Aibinu announced plans for the commencement of the Health Science programme to contribute to humanity’s development.

He stated that numerous initiatives in emerging technology have been implemented to position the university for the better development of society.

He hinted that the university has been granted a provisional license to establish an FM radio station, aiming to improve the quality of its Mass Communication courses.
