The wife of the former secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Dr Anthony Sani, Mrs Mary Folashade Coker, is dead.
According to the elder stateman, Mrs Coker died on December 3 at the age of 70.
She will be buried at the family residence in Keffi GRA, Keffi local government area today.
Meanwhile, Governor Abdullahi Sule has consoled the former ACF scribe over the demise of his wife, describing her passing as not only a loss for the family but the state at large.
The governor said that the late Mrs Coker was a constant bright light in everything she did, noting that the people of the state would forever remember her kindness and valuable advice.
“As a respected elder statesman who continues to provide us with guidance and advice in matters of the state based on your wisdom and experience, I wish to affirm that Mama was a constant bright light in everything she did, that our people of Nasarawa State will forever remember her kindness.
“To lose such a dear anchor and faithful companion for life is truly a painful loss, and my heart goes out to you in particular and the rest of your family.
“We pray that may God Almighty forgive the sins of dear wife and comfort the family,” the governor stated in a condolence message.
