Adamawa Government Imposes 24-hr Curfew On Lamurde LGA

Adamawa State Government has imposed 24-hour curfew on Lamurde local government area of the state with an immediate effect.

The curfew was conveyed through a statement by the Press Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor, Hussaini Hammangabdo who wait the decision followed a renewed communal clash which resurfaced Sunday evening in the area.

Hammangabdo added that security agencies have already been directed to restore law and order in the local government area with an immediate effect.

The State Government also appealed to residents to maintain peace and calm in the area.
