Fubara Lines Up 10 Projects For Commissioning, Flag-off In Rivers

Rivers State governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has unveiled no fewer than 10 projects to be commissioned and flagged-off in seven local government areas that cut across the three senatorial districts of the State.

The projects’ commissioning and flag-off, which will commence on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, and end on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, were coming more than two months after President Bola Tinubu lifted emergency rule in the state and restored democratic institutions.

Speaking at a joint media briefing in Port Harcourt on Monday, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Benibo Anabraba, said the new batch of projects signified part of the Fubara-led administration’s commitment to fulfilling its social contract with the people of the state.

Anabraba, who is the chairman of the projects commissioning committee, added that additional projects have been scheduled for unveiling after the Christmas festivities.

He emphasised the administration’s determination to protect the people and provide critical infrastructure, noting that despite political challenges that briefly disrupted governance, the government has fully resumed its developmental agenda.

The SSG expressed special appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for his role in ensuring the continuity of the government’s initiatives.

Anabraba, who stated that Fubara administration was back to work and ready to commission completed projects and inaugurate new ones across the state, reaffirmed the commitment of the governor to delivering the full dividends of democracy to Rivers residents.
