Remo Stars head coach Sulaiman Folarin has declared his team’s ambition to complete the first round of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season without another defeat.
Despite a challenging start with eight losses in their opening sixteen matches, the Sky Blue Stars have also secured seven victories and a draw. As they prepare to face Bayelsa United this Sunday, Folarin emphasized his squad’s determination to close the first stanza strongly.
“Our objective is clear: we do not plan to lose another match in this first round,” Folarin stated in an interview with the club’s media.
“We are going to Yenagoa to fight and to secure the positive result we need.”
The crucial match is scheduled to take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, where Remo Stars will look to translate their coach’s ambition into three points and solidify their push up the league table.
