14-year-Old Chisimdi Unveils Book ‘Sullivan’s Heir’

A 14-year-old student of Springtide International School, Abuja, Acho Zion Chisimdi, has launched her debut book titled: “Sullivan’s Heir” in Abuja.

The event brought together dignitaries, parents, educators and other stakeholders who celebrated the young author’s feat.

At the event, Chisimdi said the journey of writing the book was not an easy one, but proved to be a valuable learning experience, which strengthened her focus on education and personal development.

She expressed gratitude to God for making her dream a reality and encouraged her colleagues to be passionate and dedicated to their studies, thereby achieving their goals.

At the event, a poet, Ekene Atusiubah, said Chisimdi began showing signs of literary brilliance from a very young age.

“As a toddler, she started putting letters together, and it was clear that she carried a rare gift—one that went beyond childhood curiosity. Growing up, everyone has a talent, whether in writing, dancing, or acting, but many of these talents are never nurtured,” Atusiubah said.

He added that Chisimdi’s words “dance with intention,” noting that her imagination extends far beyond her age.

According to him, the launch of “Sullivan’s Heir” celebrates not only her achievement as a young author but also the foundation of excellence and support that shaped her growth.

“She is a pride not only to her family, but to the entire nation,” he concluded.

A former principal of Springtide International School, Ajibola Segun Michael, commended Chisimdi for her bold decision and discipline, describing her journey as an inspiration for students to develop their potential and contribute meaningfully to the building of society.
