Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Mr Musiliu Olalekan Oseni as the chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
The governor, in a statement by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, expressed delight that the president deemed it fit to give yet another Osun indigene the opportunity to contribute to nation-building.
Congratulating Oseni, Adeleke described him as an outstanding professional who has made significant contributions to the country’s power sector since joining NERC as Commissioner in 2017.
The governor highlights the Iwo-born technician’s experience and proven skills as assuring on providing a robust regulatory framework at NERC that will aid significant improvement of power to the homes of Nigerians.
While wishing Dr Oseni success in his new role, Governor Adeleke reminds him and others serving in various capacities at the national level and internationally that they are the pride of the state and must ensure that they honour the state and its people by giving their best in their assigned roles.
