Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, on Monday evening, received the remaining freed 130 schoolchildren and staff of St. Mary Catholic School, Papiri, in Agwara local government area of the State, released on Sunday.
Amid tight security, the governor received the children and their teachers while lauding the efforts of the federal government through the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) for their rescue.
He was delighted that the children were released before Christmas, assuring that the students will be immediately reunited with their parents.
