Minister of state for works and housing, Umar El-Yakub, yesterday inspected the Federal Housing Authority (FHA’s) 1,085 housing units in Zuba and Bwari communities in the Federal capital Territory (FCT).
The Zuba housing estate, which is ready for commissioning has 748 housing units while the Bwari’s, which is on the ground floor and roofing levels respectively, has 337 units.
At the Zuba site, the minister, who was flanked by the managing director of FHA, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, expressed appreciation for the level of work at the site and assured its residents of quality infrastructure and adequate facilities when commissioned.
On the issues raised on water availability in the estate, the minister said when commissioned all the required facilities would be put in place.
At the Bwari site, which was opened up last May, El-Yakub expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work.
