‎Music executive, Soso Soberekon, has called for the death penalty to be handed out as punishment to anyone convicted for drug trafficking, kidnapping, importation of fake drugs and baby foods.

‎

‎Soso made the call in a post he shared on social media.

‎

‎He observed that we are in dangerous times, and our youths are facing many dangers, and that the authorities must come up with enforcement measures that will nip it in the bud, else we stand to lose our youths and our future.

‎

‎The music executive shared his thoughts on the background of the kidnapping of students and killings that have happened in Oyo State recently.

‎

‎”Nigeria is battling a drug pandemic while rehabilitation centres are overflowing. Young people are down with kidney problems, and young children are dying.

‎

‎”Sadly, some drug traffickers are arrested today and back on the streets tomorrow because of powerful connections and interference.

‎

‎”The government must stop being lenient. Those who knowingly destroy lives, poison our communities and endanger our children deserve the harshest punishment under the law.

‎

‎”Save our youth, save our children,”  says Soso.
