Christian pilgrims from Bauchi State have been officially conferred with Jerusalem Pilgrimage Certificates in Nazareth, Israel, marking a major milestone in the 2025 Holy Land pilgrimage.
The ceremony, held at the Tabar Hotel in Nazareth, brought together stakeholders, dignitaries, and pilgrimage partners to celebrate the completion of the spiritual journey and the collaboration that ensured a smooth and impactful experience for the pilgrims.
In an opening remark on behalf of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), the federal commissioner representing North Central, Ambassador Simon Dolly, commended the pilgrims for their discipline, commitment and exemplary conduct throughout the pilgrimage.
He also congratulated Tabar Tours, the Bauchi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board and the NCPC over what he described as a shared sense of purpose and effective partnership, noting that the synergy among the organisations contributed significantly to the success of the 2025 pilgrimage.
In his special remarks, the chairman of Tabar Tours, Mr Joseph Tabar, congratulated the pilgrims for the profound spiritual experiences they gained during their stay in the Holy Land, while also applauding the NCPC and the Bauchi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board for their coordination and cooperation, which he said ensured a hitch-free exercise.
