110 Doctors, Nurses Participate In Abia Free Medical Outreach

No fewer than 50 medical doctors and 60 nurses participated in a free medical outreach involving 21 surgery organised by Joseph and Sinach Egbu Foundation in Aba, Abia State.

The state governor, Alex Otti, speaking during the outreach tagged “2025 Aba Free Medical Outreach,” described it as a clear demonstration of compassion, faith in action and responsible citizenship.

Represented by his chief of staff, the governor said the outreach aligned with his administration’s people-centered governance philosophy which had touched many lives.

He lauded the sponsors of the foundation Joseph and Sinach Egbu, a renowned international gospel musician, for “their selfless investment in the health and wellbeing of residents of the state”.

According to the governor: “God blesses individuals not merely for their own personal comfort alone but to enable them become blessings to others as well.”

Otti, who stressed his administration’s commitment to prioritising healthcare delivery, education, and social welfare, assured of his readiness to partner individuals and organisations that share similar objectives.

In their separate remarks, the sponsors explained that the outreach was borne out of their deep passion to give back to the society and to complement the government’s efforts in the health sector.

The medical adviser to the foundation, Anthony Nwala, and the coordinator of the outreach, Joyce Nwaogu, said the services included free eye examinations and distribution of reading glasses, blood pressure check, and general medication.

‎Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Melody Ikechukwu appreciated the foundation and the couples for their kindness, describing the outreach as life-saving and a rare show of genuine love for humanity.
