After dominating 20 of the nation’s top players, Adefola secured a $15,000 grand prize and a historic seat at the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship Play-Ins, putting Nigeria on the global competitive map.

This victory has ignited a new professional pipeline. The 2026 National e-Soccer League, promoted by Cade eSports and Game Evolution, officially kicked off its seven-week Division 2 season on January 17, 2026. This structured system—spanning from grassroots “Onile” tournaments to the elite Division 1—offers a N5 million aggregate prize pool and a legitimate career path for local talent.

All eyes now turn to KH26 (KH-African Gaming eSports) in late November, a three-day continental festival featuring titles like EAFC, Fortnite, and Street Fighter with participants from eight African countries.
