The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KSI Construction Company Limited, Engr. Koleola Emmanuel Fadeni, has congratulated the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, on his award for outstanding contributions at the Ondo@50 Golden Jubilee celebration.
The award was presented by Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in recognition of the Speaker’s role in advancing governance and development in the state.
In a statement issued on Friday, Engr. Fadeni lauded Oladiji’s leadership since his emergence as Speaker in 2023, describing him as a transformative figure whose tenure has strengthened the legislative process and delivered tangible dividends of democracy to the people.
Fadeni commended the Speaker’s empowerment initiatives, noting that hundreds of youths have benefited from vocational training programmes and start-up grants aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
He also praised Oladiji’s interventions in healthcare and infrastructure development, including the provision of free medical services to rural communities, construction of roads and classroom blocks, as well as scholarship schemes and distribution of learning materials to indigent students.
According to Fadeni, the Speaker’s inclusive leadership has fostered unity within the House of Assembly and accelerated development across all parts of the state.
“Under your watch, the Ondo State House of Assembly has passed critical legislation aimed at improving the socio-economic wellbeing of the people,” he said, citing key laws such as the Education Reform Bill, Health Insurance Scheme Amendment Bill and Agricultural Empowerment Bill.
He further highlighted the Speaker’s role in driving legislative digitalisation, noting that Ondo State became the first in the South-West to implement an e-registration platform for legislative record-keeping and tracking, a move that has enhanced transparency and public trust.
Beyond legislative duties, Fadeni acknowledged Oladiji’s grassroots engagement through regular town hall meetings, which he said have helped align governance with the needs of constituents.
While congratulating the Speaker on the recognition, Fadeni prayed for continued wisdom, strength and good health for him to sustain his service to the state.
