Nigerian controversial clergyman, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has slammed those he referred to as junior pastors for criticising him for wearing a tattoo. The pastor has explained during a sermon that junior pastors were not supposed to criticise him.

Pastor Okonkwo, who recently turned fifty, responding to the strong negative reactions he received, claimed that there is ranking in the spirit and that some matters are beyond the understanding of people with lesser knowledge. The Cleric made known other preachers with tattoos, including the popular televangelist Joyce Meyer, to further justify his actions.

“I’m insulted because there is ranking in the spirit. My junior can’t talk when I am talking,” the pastor declared.

On reasons why he made the tattoo public, Pastor Okonkwo remarked during his preaching session, “I posted it because my own position and my own calling and my own constituency requires that.”
