The cause of death of Victoria Jones, daughter of veteran Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones, has been confirmed weeks after she was found dead at a hotel in San Francisco on New Year’s Day 2026.
According to authorities, the 34-year-old actress died from the effects of cocaine, with the medical examiner ruling the incident an accidental death following earlier investigations into a reported medical emergency at the Fairmont San Francisco. Emergency responders had arrived at the scene after a distress call, but later declared her deceased.
Officials said no foul play was suspected, while a statement from the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed that paramedics assessed the situation before the case was handed over to police and the medical examiner’s office. The family later requested privacy as they mourned the loss.
Victoria, whom Jones shared with his former wife Kimberlea Cloughley, appeared in some of her father’s projects, including Men in Black II and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. Over the years, the actor had spoken about her talent and early interest in acting.
Her passing has drawn tributes from fans and colleagues, with many remembering her quiet presence in Hollywood and the close bond she shared with her father as the entertainment industry continues to reflect on the tragic loss.
