Ronaldo’s Ex-girlfriend Reveals Lucrative Offers To ‘Tarnish’ His Image

Gemma Atkinson, the former girlfriend of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, has disclosed that she was offered  substantial sums of money to speak negatively about the Portuguese international.

The British media personality and the then-Manchester United player, both now 41, garnered significant media attention when they dated almost two decades ago. Their relationship ened in October 2007.

During an interview on Manchester’s Key 103 radio, Atkinson stated she declined the offers, explaining, “When we did split up, I got offered so much money to speak about him and I didn’t want that.” She further elaborated, “And I didn’t want that because there was nothing negative about him, so I don’t see any reason to tell bad things about him.”

Both Atkinson and Ronaldo have since moved on with their lives. Gemma Atkinson is now married to professional dancer Gorka Marquez. Ronaldo is engaged to Georgina Rodríguez, whom he met in 2016. The couple have daughters Alana and Bella, and twins Eva Maria and Mateo (born via surrogacy).

They also tragically lost a son, Angel, shortly after birth. Ronaldo also has an elder son, Cristiano Jr, from a previous relationship.
