South West Governors, Oyetola, Ambode To Grace Political Mobilisation Summit

South West governors, former Osun State governor and current minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, as well as former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, and other notable chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are among the dignitaries expected to grace the forthcoming Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGram) Southwest Summit 2026.

The director-general of the Tinubu Ambode Support Group, Dr Seyi Bamgbade, working in collaboration with CAGram, who disclosed this to journalists in Lagos, added that the summit represents a defining moment of collective responsibility.

He urged all stakeholders to intensify outreach, drive engagement, and sustain momentum from the grassroots to the national stage.

According to him, dignitaries expected in the historic summit The political landscape of the South West is set for historic summit include Senator Solomon Adeola (YAYI), Minister of Power, Hon. Adebayo Adegoke Adelabu, Minister of Interior,  Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, member of the House Representatives, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudasiru Obasa, the son of the president, Mr Seyi Tinubu.

Other prominent APC Southwest leaders expected to attend include Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Governor Lucky Aiyedutu of Ondo State; and Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

He pointed out that the summit, convened by the APC grassroots mobilisation team under the banner of CAGram, is set to be a defining rally of unity, strategy, and renewed commitment to the party’s vision and progressive ideals across the region.

“As Nigeria witnesses the ongoing implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the South West continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to strengthening the foundation of progressive governance.’’

According to him, the theme of the summit is, ‘Consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda: Mobilising 10 million votes for PBAT 2027,” adding that it is designed to energise party structures, harmonise grassroots strategies, and reinforce the collective resolve required to secure overwhelming electoral support across the geopolitical zone.

“This historic gathering will bring together leaders, coordinators, and members across the South West to align efforts, deepen engagement, and amplify the message of continuity and stability. It is not merely a political meeting; it is a strategic convergence aimed at expanding the party’s influence from the ward to the national level.

“The anticipated participation of leaders such as Ambode, Oyetola, and other distinguished APC stalwarts underscores the depth of unity within the party. Their presence reflects a shared commitment to consolidating gains, strengthening party cohesion, and inspiring confidence among grassroots supporters.
