The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has said it will bring back acting winners of the year 2025 to present trophies at this year’s Oscars next month.

Continuing a long-standing tradition, the Academy declared that best actor winners Adrien Brody, ‘The Brutalist’ and Mikey Madison, ‘Anora’, together with supporting actor winners Kieran Culkin, ‘A Real Pain’ and Zoe Saldaña, ‘Emilia Pérez’, will present trophies in the acting categories at its 98th annual Academy Awards.

Best actress winner, Madison’s win was among five trophies taken home by Sean Baker’s ‘Anora’, which received the most wins of any movie in 2025. Saldaña, Madison and Culkin become first-time Oscar winners while Brody won his second best actor trophy, for his role in “The Brutalist.”

The actors are the first presenters announced for the March 15 ceremony, to be hosted by American television host and comedian Conan O’Brien for the second year in a row. It’s set to air live on ABC and Hulu from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15, starting at 4 p.m. PT and 12 am West African Time.

The nominee in the lead for this year is ‘Sinners’, breaking the record for most nominations by a single film with 16 nods.

Nominees for best actress are Jessie Buckley for ‘Hamnet,’ Rose Byrne for ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,’ Renate Reinsve for ‘Sentimental Value,’ Emma Stone for ‘Bugonia, ’ and Kate Hudson for ‘Song Sung Blue.’
