Former governor of Kano State and National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has paid a condolence visit to former governor of the state, Ibrahim Shekarau, following the death of his elder brother, Malam Dahiru Shekarau.

Kwankwaso visited Shekarau at his residence in Kano on Sunday to commiserate with him and members of his family over the loss.

He was accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Kwankwaso expressed deep sympathy to the former governor and prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

“May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannah, and give the entire family the strength to bear this loss,” he prayed.
