The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) cannot rule Kwara state again because the people are tired of bad governance.

According to Atiku, the dominating tendencies exhibited by APC in Kwara State and the nation at large, chanting ‘Osunwa’, ‘we are tired’ at the Kwara State stadium in Ilorin shows that the party is drowning.

Atiku who pledged that life would return to normal in the state and Nigeria if he is voted into office, said Kainji dam, now prone to causing flood and soil erosion, would be adaptively managed to make it work optimally without hiccups.

The ex-vice president, whose campaign team landed Ilorin, Kwara state capital in continuation of its cross-country tour, recalls that the 2019 campaign of calumny by the APC in the state robbed the Saraki dynasty of its generational transformation there through the dubious slogan of Oto ge which ushered it into power.

With this slogan, the PDP candidate said “an image was created which harvested disillusionment and a sense of servitude and bondage. The campaign was that for the last 34 years one family was deciding the fate of all Kwarans.
