Suspected gunmen have killed a 67-year-old retired teacher, Mr Abel Atilola, in Oyo State.
It was gathered that the victim was killed by some people whose identities were yet to been known near his farm along Irawo Road in Tede, Atisbo local government area of the state.
The deceased was ambushed and subsequently killed by the assailants.
It was gathered that the incident had been reported to the police.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Oyo State Command, Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident.
Ayanlade, in a short message, said that investigation had commenced on the incident.
