Security Confirms Abduction Of 6 Worshippers In Kaduna Community

Security operatives have confirmed the abduction of six Muslim worshippers in Azadra village, Kachia local government area of Kaduna State by the suspected bandits.

A resident of the area, Saidu Sani, who resided in Kaduna city told LEADERSHIP on telephone that residents of the area informed him that the attack happened last week Thursday but did not give full details.

Speaking with our correspondent over the incident, a top security commander who did not want his name mentioned, said the abduction occurred but security operatives were mobilised to rescue the victims.

“Yes, it is true six worshippers were abducted in a community in Kachia local government area of Kaduna State. Security personnel were deployed and were working to rescue the victims,” the security source stated.

Six worshipers were reportedly kidnapped inside Mosque when they were observing prayers.
