American filmmaker, actor and author, Quentin Tarantino, is said to be alive and well after false information on X that he was dead.

Insiders close to the Pulp Fiction film maker revealed this after a user with over 150 thousand followers posted on X claiming he had died in an Iranian missile attack on Israel, where he is known to spend some time aside from the US.

The post also mistakenly credited Deadline publication as its source for the news.

Despite the misinformation, the post was liked over a thousand times and has been picked up by other users.

Meanwhile, another account in the same fashion posted that comedian Jerry Seinfeld has been killed once again, crediting Deadline. There is no proof this is true; again, the post has been liked thousands of times.

Multiple AI-generated photos have also been posted to X, alleging to show Tarantino in a bomb shelter in Israel. These are also reported as false.
