Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has expressed gratitude following the premiere of her movie.

The actress made her first directorial movie titled ‘A Mother’s Love’, which premiered on Sunday. Omosexy also used the occasion to celebrate
30 years in the industry.

The premiere was held at the Alliance Franchise, Ikoyi, Lagos, and had in attendance celebrities like Rita Dominic, Toke Makinwa, Nosa Rex, and others, including former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Omotola, on her Instagram page, expressed gratitude to the public, crediting God for making the event possible.

The movie, which starred Olumide Oworu, Noray Nehita, Ifeanyi Kalu, Lilian Afegbai, and Nosa Rex, among others, marked the 48-year-old’s directorial debut

Omotola earlier said the project stemmed from her desire to tell emotionally grounded stories that highlight the strength, sacrifice and resilience of women.

Omotola

“What a Night.
GOD DID
Coming right back to express how I feel, but first, thank you all. @motherslovethemovie is truly a gift everyone felt tonight.

Mother’s Love starts showing from March 6th, 2026. Get ready!”

Last year, Omotola lamented the industry’s condition, comparing it to Hollywood and calling for structure. The legendary actress revealed that she had been working in Hollywood for 4 years and that she receives monthly residuals. Meanwhile, she got no residuals in Nollywood, where she spent 30 years.

A Mother’s Love will be in Cinemas nationwide from March 6th
