Adamawa State Government Distributes Food And Nutritional Items To Vulnerable Persons

The Adamawa State Government has received and commenced the distribution of food and nutritional items to vulnerable persons affected by humanitarian crises across the state.

The items were provided by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. The official flag-off ceremony was performed by the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Bernard Mohammed Doro.

In his remarks, Dr. Doro commended the Adamawa State Government for its sustained efforts in providing humanitarian assistance to affected communities. He pledged the Federal Government’s continued support in complementing the state’s interventions to improve the well-being of vulnerable citizens.

The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who was ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner, Adamawa State Ministry for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Reintegration and Humanitarian Services (RRR&HS), Hon. Bello Hamman Diram, expressed appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting and complementing the efforts of the Adamawa State Government.

The Commissioner reaffirmed the State Government’s readiness to continue working collaboratively with the Federal Government to ensure sustained humanitarian support and improved living conditions for the good people of Adamawa State.
