‘One Battle After Another’, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, emerged as the biggest winner at the 98th Academy Awards, securing six honours, including the coveted Best Picture.

The ceremony, held Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and hosted by Conan O’Brien, saw Warner Bros. dominate the awards through its two leading films, One Battle After Another and Sinners, which swept several of the night’s major categories.

Anderson’s victory marked a significant milestone in his career, as the veteran filmmaker secured his first Oscar, winning both Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for the film.

In the acting categories, Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor for his role in Sinners, while Jessie Buckley received the award for Best Actress for her performance in Hamnet.

Filmmaker Ryan Coogler secured the award for Best Original Screenplay for Sinners, further strengthening the film’s presence at the ceremony.
