President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has showered praises on his longtime aide, Tunde Rahman, as he marks his 60th birthday, describing him as a loyal, dedicated and highly professional media strategist.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Rahman for his years of unflinching commitment to duty and service.
Tinubu recalled Rahman’s longstanding role in his media team, noting that he served diligently as Adviser on Media before his current position as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Special Duties in the Presidency.
The President particularly highlighted Rahman’s leadership qualities and strong work ethic, especially during the period leading up to the last presidential election, where he played a key role as a political liaison and media strategist.
Describing him as a conscientious journalist and seasoned newspaper editor, Tinubu said Rahman has consistently upheld professionalism while deploying journalism as a tool for public good and social justice.
“I especially celebrate Tunde Rahman for his outstanding qualities on the occasion of his 60th birthday. He is a dedicated, humble and extraordinarily loyal personal aide who serves with utmost dedication,” the President said.
He further acknowledged Rahman’s contributions to the advancement of progressive ideals and the promotion of good governance in Nigeria, noting that his counsel has remained sincere and devoid of ulterior motives.
Offering prayers for the celebrant, Tinubu wished him continued good health, greater wisdom and more years of service to the nation and humanity.
