Singer Aṣa loses Mother

Singer Bukola Elemide, known as Aṣa, has announced the death of her mother.

The artiste shared the news on her Instagram page, where she described her late mother as her “reason to be” and “biggest fan.”

Aṣa revealed that her mother died after a sudden medical condition.

“A sudden brain tumour came without warning and took you too soon,” she wrote.

LEADERSHIP reports that Aṣa, known for her deeply private nature, opened up about the intimate bond she shared with her mother, describing her mother as supportive and kind.

“You were generous. The kindest soul, your strength, your love, your spirit will remain with me forever. Rest now, Mum,” the singer added.
