Iwobi Earns Premier League Player Of The Month Nomination

Alex Iwobi has been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March following an impressive run of performances for Fulham FC.

The Nigerian midfielder is among seven nominees, facing competition from Bruno Fernandes, Morgan Gibbs-White, David Raya, James Garner, Anthony Gordon and Danny Welbeck.

Iwobi scored once in four league appearances during the month, including a superb strike in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

His standout displays against Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Burnley played a key role in securing the nomination.

Voting on the EA Sports platform remains open until 30 March, with the winner to be announced next week after fans’ votes are combined with those of a panel of experts.
