Nigeria made news in The Michael Knowles Show this week for the recent Palm Sunday massacre in Jos, Plateau State.
The show features American political commentator and author Michael Knowles, who critically assesses political and cultural events in the US and beyond every Monday to Friday. It is a credible news source for over 2.59 billion subscribers.
The story formed part of a roundup news on ’10 Christians Martyred On Palm Sunday’ worldwide on March 29, 2026.
Knowles, who played a social media post from an eyewitness at the scene of the massacre in Jos, Plateau State, highlighted his familiarity with Christian persecution in Nigeria, via a missionary acquaintance who had “done a lot of work in Nigeria, and from the many times the Nigerian issue had come up in the show.
Adding, “Muslims have been persecuting Christians in Nigeria to an extreme of savagery that most people can comprehend. And it happened again on Palm Sunday.”
Knowles noted that while news of Christian persecution in the US and Europe makes the news, the same phenomena happening in Africa and East Asia tend to be overlooked.
He said these events are a reminder that Christianity is a religion built on the blood of martyrs, and remains to date the most persecuted religion in the world.
Knowles has been affiliated with The Daily Wire since 2016, where he has hosted ‘The Michael Knowles Show’ since 2017.
