Praise has been pouring in for Yoruba actor Kunle Afod from his fellow actors after he visited veterans, Chief Kola Oyewo and Peter Fatomilola, who both just turned 80.
The actor shared a video on his Instagram page of the visit.
“I visited Ile-Ife to go see Chief Kola Oyewo and Peter Fatomilola, who both clocked 80 years recently. Full video dropping soon on KUNLEAFODTV BY 6 pm STAY TUNED”.
In the comments on his social media page, actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele thanked him and prayed for him. While Dayo Amusa and Regina Chukwu posted love emojis among other heartfelt praises.
The ‘Odin Kokanla’ actor is recognised for his generosity to veteran actors. He had previously spoken about his zeal for supporting veterans in the Nigerian film sector, noting that helping them gives him joy and that he was laying a legacy for the younger ones.
Last year, the actor raised more than N600,000 for veteran Baba Ariyo after visiting his house, where he had been a tenant for 40 years, and shared a sad video of the state he found the veteran in, which left him heavy-hearted.
