Access Holdings Plc has listed an additional 1.058 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each on the daily official list of the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
The new shares arose from the company’s private placement of 1.975 billion shares at N20.25 per share, which was 53.54 per cent subscribed.
NGX in its report for the week ended April 10, 2026 stated that additional 1.058 billion shares of Access Holdings were on April 8, 2026, listed on the NGX.
According to the report, the above shares listed on NGX arose from the Company’s private placement of 1.975 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N20.25 per share, which was 53.54 per cent subscribed. With the listing of an additional 1.058 billion shares, the total issued and fully paid-up shares of Access Holdings have increased from 53.318 billion to 54.376 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each. It will be recalled that Access Holdings secured shareholder approval to raise N40 billion in fresh equity capital through a private placement, which is part of its broader strategy to strengthen its balance sheet and support growth across its banking and non-banking subsidiaries.
To accommodate the private placement, shareholders approved an increase in the company’s issued share capital from N26.66 billion to N27.65 billion by creating 1.98 billion new ordinary shares of 50 kobo each.
