Ododo Inaugurates PAAU Council, Tasks Team On Global Competitiveness

Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi, on Wednesday inaugurated the Governing Council and Principal Officers of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Ayangba, urging them to reposition the institution for global competitiveness.
Ododo represented by Mrs Folasade Ayoade, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SGS), urged the new management to work assiduously as a team to enhance the standard of the institution.

The governor emphasised the need for diligence, commitment, and loyalty, saying that posterity would judge the new leadership by their impact on the university.

In his remarks, Prof. Mohammed Audu, Chairman of the governing council and principal officers, assured the governor of the Council’s readiness to reposition the university as a citadel of academic excellence.

He pledged the loyalty and dedication of management and staff, as well as the cooperation of students, toward building a more productive and globally competitive institution.

Members of the council include Prof. Mohammed Audu, Chairman, Dr Adebayo Ayodele, Dr Ahmed Jimoh, and Mr Atule Akoche.

The principal officers are Audu Siyaka, Registrar, Abdulsalami Ahmed, Bursar, Mr Isa Aminu, Librarian, and Shaibu Ukwenya, Director of Works.
